PARAGON The Feature Plant for November 2008
Paragon is a tri-colour clivia. This plant is from a Toy Jennings cross of ‘Ella van Zijl and Bertie's Bi-Colour. This plant exhibits a uniform colour pattern from petal to petal. The colour and pattern starts with Salmon (D5 Cape Clivia Colour Chart) in the central most area of the petal surrounded by Apricot (D6 Cape Clivia Colour Chart) and is bordered in a band of Light Pink (D1 Cape Clivia Colour Chart) all areas exhibit a ghosting effect, most pronounced in the (D1) border. This flower is also green throated. Pollen is fertile and has been used in several 2007 crosses.
