Pink Champagne

This plant was grown from seed sourced from Chris Volk by the New Zealand Clivia Club and sold as item #24 on their 2004 seed list. The parents of this plant were listed as Nakamura Daruma Variegated X Elida Bronze (OR5 X AS22). This plant was registered by Jim Black with a name of 'Pink Champagne' through the Clivia Name Register, Ken Smith, on June 12, 2008.

The plant has nice Shima-Fu (striped) variegation as was probable in the parentage, but the expected color would have been orange to bronze. Evidently, one of the pair decided to impart a visual pink color trait to this plant.
