Cultural Tips for those new to clivia in the U.S.
Summer is upon us and berries are well set on the plants. Keep a watchfull eye out for mealy bugs and rust in the more humid states. The sun has shifted and is now beating down. Check your plants as see if they are still shaded from direct sun. Look for burning of the leaves and help them move if needed. or cover with a bit of floating row cover. If I place my hand just in front of the plant, between it and the sun, I don't want to see a heavy shadow cast of the leaves. If there is I move that plant to a bit more shaded area. If planted in the ground, place somethng between them and the sun.
